NOTE: I wrote the following 2 weeks ago but couldn't get pics to load so I am finally posting!
Okay ... so I am a little late in posting to announce the birth of Henry James Danubio. He arrived on 8/9/10 at 9:18 pm. Just like the Nugget I got to pull him out once his head was clear and then I got to cut the cord ... totally awesome and a gift like none other I have ever received.
Mama did a great job and I am so proud of how well she endured the pregnancy and the delivery - something no man could ever do.
Henry was welcomed warmly by the Nugget as she declared "he's so pretty" when she first saw him. She is taking to him nicely - always curious about "what Henry doing?" or "what Henry saying"? She seems to get that Henry only eat's "mama's milk" and that he can't do things like other kids yet like play catch or go on the swings.
More to come as I update this blog on the status of both kids and how they are doing individually and collectively.
